Rosie and Bernd are joined by their daughter, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Loretta Rest, for their new trio project WHO OWNS THE SNOW. The eponymous debut album will be out in February 2026 on 12-inch vinyl and for digital download.

Singer-songwriter ROSIE BROWN and long-time musical partner, co-writer and producer BERND REST call on the exceptional talents of SIMON RUSSELL (bass) and PAUL MAY (drums) to create a mesmerising sonic picture.

Weaving folk, jazz and blues influences, with glimpses of Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake and vintage John Martyn, the band expresses a musical sensibility all of its own. Drawing on country, 60s surf and classical, this is beguiling and intricate music, filmic and funky, full of emotion. Songs with surfaces light and shimmering, evocative of landscape, love, loss, darkness and light.
